Marie Clara Wieber

Marie was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. She passed away at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Marie's daughter, Elly, was the pride and joy of her life, and she spent many happy hours attending Elly's Chinese dance performances around Denver. They traveled together and took memorable vacations to Europe and China. Marie was born and grew up in Michigan, and while on vacation, she fell in love with Denver then moved here in 1973. She established her CPA firm and served numerous loyal clients over the past 30-plus years. Marie is survived by her daughter, Elly; two brothers and nine sisters; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; and cousins. The Wieber family would like to thank all of the friends, neighbors, clients, and caregivers for the food, rides to and from the airport, and the spiritual, emotional, and physical care they have provided for us and for Marie during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 1st, at Horan & McConaty, 1091 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver. Donations may be made to The Elly Wieber Benefit Fund at any First Bank.
