Marilyn (Lyn) Joan Kil (94) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in Westminster, CO. Born in Chicago IL, she was the oldest of two daughters of Leo and Helen Tadrowski.
She and her husband of 68 years, Henry L Kil moved to Albuquerque in 1950. Marilyn was active in the community, especially with the then newly formed Our Lady of Fatima parish. Her volunteer work continued throughout her life, including working with the Girl Scouts, St Pius X High School, St Joseph’s Ladies Auxiliary and Casa Angelica. After Henry’s death in 2016, she moved to assisted living facilities in the Denver area to be closer to family.
Lyn is survived by daughter Catherine Bryan (Keith) of Sabillasville MD, son Patrick Kil (Judi) of Grants Pass OR, son Dennis Kil of Arvada CO, and son-in-law Shaun White of Denver CO, six grandchildren Henry E Rivera, Joshua Kil, Sunny Gallegos, Tai Shelton, Kevin White and Laura Stroup, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nehpews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by, sister Leatrice Wolfe Nolan, daughter Sarah White and great grandson Evan Gallegos.
There will be a memorial service at 5:00pm Saturday, June 24th at Horan McConaty, 7577 W 80th Street, Arvada CO 80003. Interment will be at a later date in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
