Marion Molander Dinges

Marion Molander Dinges, 85, of Boulder, Colorado, passed away March 11, 2017 in Loveland, Colorado. Marion was born September 4, 1931, to Raymond A. and Clara O. Sigurdson-Molander in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended Roosevelt High School and graduated with the class of 1949. She then attended the University of Minnesota for two years, enrolled in their teaching program. At 22 years old, Marion moved to California where she eventually met William Dinges, whom she married in 1962. Together, they had four children: David, Kristine, Susanne and Martin. After years of living in Germany and California, Marion's family settled in Arvada, Colorado in 1971. Marion loved the sunshine, reading, history, volunteering, traveling, gardening, playing piano and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Marion is survived by her son, David (Kathryn) Dinges of Dana Point, CA, his two daughters, Andrea Dinges and Alexandria (Matt) Nesselroad and great-grandchildren, Arabella and Adelaide Nesselroad; daughter, Kristine Serrano of Arvada, Colorado, and her children, Gabe and Sofia Serrano; daughter, Susanne (Greg) Thwaites of Windsor, Colorado, and her children William and Sarahbeth Thwaites; son, Martin (Monika) Dinges of Boulder, Colorado and his children Weston and Katelyn Dinges; and Marion's former husband, William Dinges of Lafayette, Colorado. Marion is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Clara Molander. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado.
