Marion Wengrovius Mable

January 26, 1921 — June 8, 2012

Marion Mable, 91 years of age, of Aurora, Colorado, departed life on June 8, 2012. Marion was born on January 26, 1921 in Ben Avon, Pennsylvania and shortly thereafter moved to Binghamton, New York. Throughout the years, she and Fred lived in various communities throughout New York State before settling in Aurora, Colorado in 1991. Marion attended Wilson Memorial Hospital nursing training and worked for several physicians in the Binghamton area. During World War II, Marion worked at IBM as ""Rosie the riveter"" on their bomb sights. After raising her family, Marion was a Realtor for several years. Marion was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Marion had a style and class all her own. She was preceded in death by her Father, Albert Wengrovius, Mother, Marion Wengrovius; Sisters Dorothy Anderson and Helen Ryan and Brothers John Wengrovius and Don Wengrovius. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, and caregiver, Frederick W. Mable of Aurora, CO; son Leon Mable (Sharon) of Vandalia, OH; Daughter Lori Hartmann (Michael) of Huntsville, AL. Grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Fealy (Joseph); Dr. Jeremy Mable (Elizabeth), Curtis Hartmann, Jeffrey Mable and Morgan Hartmann. Great-grandchildren, Liam and Caroline Fealy. A Memorial Service for Marion will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Road), Aurora, Colorado. A Committal Service at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Staging Area B) will occur at 12:30pm on Monday, June 18, 2012 In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
