Marjorey âMargieâ Ann DeSalvo, 71, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018. A native of Denver, CO she was the daughter to the late Harry and Margaret Hermanson. Margie was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church. She graduated from Lakewood High School in 1965. She married Richard DeSalvo June 30, 1967. She volunteered at her childrenâs elementary school doing Bingo and starting up the hot lunch program at St. Pius. After several years of volunteering, she started part time at Hoffman Heights Ace Hardware. She became half owner of Ace Hardware until she retired in October of 2015. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Hermanson, and a sister, Mary Kathleen Hermanson. She leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Richard J. DeSalvo, Aurora; three children and their spouses, Joseph R. DeSalvo and his wife, Paula S. DeSalvo, Parker, Diana M. Brunner and her husband, Greg C. Brunner, Centennial, and Tiffany A. Lamm and her husband, Jake J. Lamm, Denver; six grandchildren, Angelina Marie DeSalvo, Jenna Michelle Lamm, Anthony Joseph DeSalvo, Jack Richard Brunner, Kate Ann Brunner and Chase Clifford Brunner; siblings, Jim Hermanson, John Hermanson, Tom Hermanson and Patsy Bolton; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Bobbi Lemoi. A Recitation of The Rosary will be conducted at 6:30 PM, on Sunday, April 15, 2018, in the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO 80014. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 AM, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, 18000 E Arapahoe Rd, Aurora, CO 80016, with Father David Bluejacket officiating. A committal and interment service will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Greg Brunner, Jake Lamm, Tyler Bolton, Gary Bolton, J.C. VanCleave and Randy Waters.
