Marjorie Burke

Marjorie Burke, 89, formerly of Denver, Colorado, passed away November 18, 2016, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born March 8, 1927 in Cowley, Wyoming to William James Banks and Harriet Amelia Asay Banks. She met and married the love of her life, Noel Clinton Burke and they were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 3rd, 1947. He preceded her in death in 2008. Marjorie was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Winn (husband, David); daughter-in-law, Jeanette Burke, 10 grandchildren: Eric Noel Burke (Jamee), James Fred Burke (Kimberly), Stephanie Luck (Andrew), Michael Noel Burke (Jessica), Gregory Noel Burke (Carly), Robert David Burke (Jenae), Camille Marie Thomas (Bryan), Ryan David Winn (Anna Lohman Winn), Stephen Burke Winn (Katherine Ruth), Kelley Renee Hicken (Mark Allen); 23 great-grandchildren: Jacob Burke, Katelyn Burke, Maxwell Burke, Jason Burke, Peyton Burke, Brandon Luck, Emily Luck, Matthew Luck, Nathan Burke, Zachary Burke, Calvin Burke, Xiao Burke, Declan Burke, Henry Winn, Eleanor Winn, Alexis Winn, Tommy Winn, Michael Winn, Amy Winn, Burke Winn, Amelia Winn, Logan Hicken and Emma Hicken. She was preceded in death by her son, Noel R. Burke. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016, 10am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 36689 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, Colorado.
