Marjorie B. Graham

March 4, 1917 — February 14, 2006

Marjorie L. Graham of Columbine Valley, Colo., a homemaker and former teacher, died 2-14-06 at Porter Hospice. She was 88. Preceded in death by husband Bill, son Phillip and granddaughter Elizabeth Barry. Mother of Martha (Jim) Barry, Bob (Bobbi), Patricia. Grandmother of Matthew (Amie), Craig Barry, Christa (Broc), Kelly Graham. Sister of Idalee Brown and Robert Loutzenhiser. She was born March 4, 1917 in rural Blockton, Iowa. On June 19, 1940 she married Willard H. Graham at her family home near Blockton. Mrs. Graham graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Michigan University with a teaching degree in Business Education. She taught in Greenville, Michigan for three years prior to her marriage to Mr. Graham and moved to Jarratt, Virginia, where she taught for two years. During WWII she worked as an auditor with a New York accounting firm; later returning to W.M.U. where she taught business courses for a year, while her husband was in the Navy. She was a member of the Senate Sorority at W.M.U., Littleton United Methodist Church, New Sunshine Circle, Chapter B.S. of P.E.O., Partners in Rotary, and a champion golfer at Columbine Country Club. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2:00 pm, Littleton United Methodist Church, 5893 South Datura St., Littleton. Memorials to The American Cancer Society, 2255 S.
