Marjorie Lewis Randles of Parker, Colorado, died on July 27, 2021. She was 94 years old. Marjorie was born 2nd of six children to the late Guy V. Lewis Sr. and Lottie Mainhart Lewis of Dickerson, MD.
Marjorie graduated Poolesville High School Class of 1944, married her high school sweetheart, Burr Randles and moved to Colorado. Early in their marriage they moved from Denver to the San Luis Valley and Marjorie worked on the family farm in Hooper where they farmed and ranched and raised four boys, Paul, Brian, Steve and Bart. They moved to Parker in 1975.
Although Marjorie suffered many losses in her life, she always remained positive and had an amazing sense of humor. Marjorie was a wonderful, devoted wife and mother, a beautiful, loving person inside and out. She was proud of her family, both the one she was born into and married into. Marjorie was known as an extraordinary country cook and she faithfully supported the Kidney Foundation and enjoyed attending their annual gala.
Marjorie is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Burr Randles; children Brian, Paul and Steve Randles; grandchildren Jason and Clint Randles; brothers, Marshall Jay (M.J), Sr. and wife, Eileen; Wendell and wife, Doris; Guy V., Jr. and wife, Mary Ellen; Sister Barbara and husband Newt and sister-in-law Barbara Jean Lewis
Surviving are son, Bart and his wife Janet of Denver & children, Parker and Grant; Daughter-in-law, Wynell from Hooper and children Erin (husband Joe), along with Grandchildren, Emma Wolfe, Christian Wolfe, Malachi Aldrich and Anara Aldrich; Grandson Clayton Randles and Grandson Brian (B.W.) Randles and great grandson Grayson; in addition to her brother Doyle Lewis from Maryland. Marjorie has several nieces and nephews and their generations living across the country.
The family wishes to thank and extend their appreciation for the excellent care and compassion given by Touching Hearts and to her long-time caregiver June.
Arrangements are being handled by Horan & McConaty in Denver.
