Marjorie Jane Tweed

Marjorie Jane Tweed, 89, passed away January 5, 2016. She is survived by sons Gary R. Tweed and John W. Tweed. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Tweed; and daughter Leslie Tweed King. Marjorie attended Colorado Women's College. She was an accomplished artist, painting many pet portraits. She also illustrated childrens' books. When asked to illustrate knitting instructions, she took a class to learn to knit to enhance her artwork. Marjorie also enjoyed classical and big band music. Her children fondly remember her playing ""Clair de Lune"" on the family piano. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be Thursday, January 14, 2016, 10:30 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014. A Committal Service will follow at 12:30 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235, Staging Area B.
