Mark Carothers

Mark Edward Carothers, 57, died from complications of COVID, January 17th, 2022. Mark was born November 24, 1964, in Niles, Michigan, to Frank Edward Carothers and Patricia Ellen (Decoudres) Carothers. He was the 2nd youngest of 5 ( children, Ann, Mike (Wife Patty)Florida/Colorado, Katie ( Husband Bob Hughes) of Mich., Matt (Wife, Crystal) Florida.

Mark was a digital Pressman for 30 plus years. He worked for Kinkos, Xerox, Janus, and Fredrick printing until he became disabled from Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in 2018. During this time at Kinkos  he met his wife, Lori, who he endearingly nicknamed, "My, Lovely," in (1998).  They worked the same schedule so he would buy her dinner on rides home. They married April 8th, 2000 and their beautiful union was full of giggles, friendship, joy, Nelson Family BBQ's & holidays, beloved Dogs, Spencer, Tank, Baby, Mookie, and currently Joy lasted 22 years. Their son, Zachery Malik Carothers was born, April 28, 2009.

Hobbies: in his early years Mark spent his spare time bicycle riding, brewing beer, watching the Calgary Flames hockey team, Chicago Bears, Bulls and Cubs.. After he got married, movies with his wife, video games, and cooking were his pass times.  When "Bubba", his son Zachery, who was his pride and joy the video games became his major hobby. He is survived by his wife, Lori Nelson-Carothers, his son Zachery Malik Carothers,  Siblings Michael  Carothers of Florida  Katie Hughes of Mich. Matt of Florida Ann Smith of Georgia. Nieces, Courtney, Elle, Megan (Husband Will), Sarah ( Husband Nicodemus)   Nephews AJ, Nolan, Spenser,  Great Nieces, Madison, Morgan, Emiliah, Olivia Rose, Great Nephews Mason, Daniel

Celebration of Life will be held at 10am, Saturday, June 4th, 2022. Location is Horan and McConaty 11150 Dartmouth Aurora, CO. Reception immediately to follow at The Heartlight Center on the same campus.
