77, Died on Dec. 4, 2010 in Rome, Italy following a brief illness. He was born May 21, 1933, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania to Evan and Iva (Maust) Miller. He attended Eastern Mennonite College and Goshen College. He first moved to Denver in 1956 for a volunteer position at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Mark married Ardis Phillips of Denver on May 29, 1965. He owned and operated Electronic Devices, Inc., a business machines company in Denver for 19 years. Since retirement, Mark enjoyed US and international travel. In addition to summiting several Colorado peaks, he had a special affinity for the desert southwest and hiking the Grand Canyon. He volunteered for several organizations including First Mennonite Church of Denver, The Spirituals Project, Mi Casa Family Resource Center, and Global Dental Relief. Mark is survived by his wife Ardis, daughter Kay, son Evan (Elizabeth), and grandson Derek (all of the Denver area), and sister Marie Yoder of Grantsville, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Norma Yoder and Mildred Bender. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Jan. 4, 2011 at First Mennonite Church, 430 West Ninth Ave., Denver.
