Mark A. Stephens passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2024. Born in Denver, CO, on March 16, 1958, to Charles and Toddy Stephens, Mark grew up in a warm and loving household alongside his siblings, Brad and StevAnne. Just blocks away from his childhood home lived his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Annette Ruybal. They were married on May 25, 1985, and together raised their family in Broomfield, CO.
A dedicated father and mentor, Mark never missed a sporting event, cheer performance, or pom competition for his three children—Sarah, Michelle, and Matthew—always encouraging them to be the best versions of themselves. He extended this devotion to his grandchildren, Haylee, Ian, and Zane, creating cherished memories and a lasting legacy of love and support.
Professionally, Mark worked as a network technician for 30 years, known for his skill and dedication. Upon retiring, he embraced his love for the outdoors, often camping, fishing, and cooking for family gatherings. Mark was also known for his talents in creating beautiful floral arrangements, his endless supply of funny dad jokes, and his joy for playing the harmonica. His bright smile and big heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife Annette; his brother Brad Stephens, wife Linda, and family; his sister StevAnne Kisko, her husband David, and family; his daughter Sarah and husband Perry; his daughter Michelle and husband Jared; his son Matthew; and his adored grandchildren, Haylee, Ian, and Zane. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who were touched by his kindness and humor.
