“It’s not the end of the road. It’s waking up with Jesus.” - Mark Voss
September 13, 1971 Mark Voss was welcomed into the world by parents Michael and Sara Voss of Lincoln, NE. Fifty years later, on the evening of November 12, 2021, he woke up with his Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. His years here were spent in the passionate pursuit of a deeper relationship with God and his family, including his wife of 23 years, Monica (Sperling) Voss, his children Reagan and Clarissa, his siblings Tim, Robin, and Tom, as well as three nieces and seven nephews. Mark was known for singing at the top of his lungs whether in a worship service, on a road trip, or karaoke night with friends and family. That level of dedication extended to every part of Mark’s life, especially his interests of business management and marketing, cycling, tennis and even his battle with cancer. Twenty-two of his years were dedicated to his family’s business, Voss Lighting. He particularly treasured the 10 years he and his family spent in Christian missions throughout Costa Rica, Honduras and Colombia. His deepest yearning was that his life might point others to finding their own relationship with the God he loved so deeply.
