Mark Howard White Sr.

Mark Howard White, Sr of Lakewood, Colorado died peacefully on January 16, 2019. Mark was a twin and was born in Mays Landing, New Jersey on September 23, 1940 to Robert E. and Olivet E. (Williams) White, both of whom preceded him in death.

Mark served in the US Army and upon discharge relocated to Oakland, California. He attended and graduated from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA with a Bachelors and Master's Degree in Accounting. Mark retired from the US Federal Government after 39 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement, and especially had a passion for playing golf and traveling the world. Mark was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Lodge # 170, in Lakewood, CO. He was a 32 Degree Mason and a Worshipful Master.

Mark is survived by his wife, Jamesetta (Jamie); two sons: Mark Jr and Kevin White; four grandchildren: Tiffany Miles, Jose Rivera, Kevin Jr. and Kierre White; seven great-grandchildren: Christian, Jacion, Jizelle, Kaidyn, Jayden, Teagen and Milan. He is also survived by five siblings: Clinton Lewis, Samuel White, Gladys Howell, Olivet White, Barbara McGlocking, and one sister-in-law, Joyce White. Mark was preceded in death by his twin brother, Matthew. He was also proceeded in death by his sister, Wilhelmae Johnson, three brothers: Lee Robert White, Morris White Sr, and Robert White Jr.

A memorial and viewing for Mark will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, CO from 4:30 - 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held in his native state of New Jersey on January 26, 2019 at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, New Jersey, 08330.
