Marlene Barber

Marlene passed away October 10, 2009. Born March 1, 1948 to Roland and Ruth Esswein in Columbus, Ohio, she graduated with honors from Ohio University with a major in both English and creative Writing. A loving mother, avid reader, artist, gardener, and volunteer who helped the critically ill. She is survived by her mother, Ruth of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Barber of Larkspur, Colorado, and sons Alexander Herrick Barber (Alex) and Grant Ransom Barber, both of Denver, Colorado. She will be laid to rest at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio with her sister, Lorraine, and father, Roland, who predeceased her. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
