Martha Lou Fox

Born on 6/13/1929 in Flora, Illinois to Charles & Evelue (Painter) Pollard. Raised in Flora, Illinois and graduated from Flora High School. Martha resided most of her life in O'Fallon, Illinois before later moving to Brighton, Colorado. Martha was a member of O'Fallon Church of Christ before joining Grace Church in Fairview Heights, Illinois and then North Metro Church, Thornton, Colorado. Martha worked for Penn Cen Truck Lines in Fairmont City, Illinois before retiring. She is survived by her children, Nancy L. (Ron) Ver Steegt Sanderson, Wanda L. (Bill) Escher & Gordon L. Escher; grandchildren, Amelia Ver Steegt, Elizabeth Ver Steegt, Stacey Fox, Carla Johnson, Debra Jeremiah, & William Bowen; 9 great grandchildren; brother, McKinley S. J. (Sharon) Pollard and many more family members & friends. Preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Fox & Leroy Escher; daughter, Louise Bowen; grandson, David Bowen; and brother, Charles C. Pollard. Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, cousin and friend to many. Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Eleven O'clock in the morning at First United Methodist Church, 102 W. 3rd Street, Xenia, Illinois.
