Martha Lillian Rahe

Martha L. Rahe, 94, of Denver, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2007. She was born August 1, 1913 in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated from the University of Ohio, and was a member of Delta Zeta sorority. Martha moved to Denver after WWII. She was a long time administrative assistant to four deans of the University of Denver's College of Business Administration and she was employed by Denver Public Schools. Martha was active in the University of Denver Faculty Wives' Club and co-founded the Retired University Personnel organization. Her love of cats and African wild life lead her to participate in the Denver Zoo's docent program. Martha is remembered fondly by friends, co-workers, and 'adopted' grand children. Celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. (Parker Rd.), Aurora, CO. Burial will take place at a later date at Walnut Hills Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH.
