Martha Adella Shearer

Martha A. Shearer, 94, of Westminster, Colorado, formerly of Bridgeport, New York, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Martha is survived by her daughters, Laura Root of Denver, CO, Shirley Williams of Stevensville, MT, and Edith Cooper of Federal Heights, CO; son, Frank Shearer of Lakewood, CO; sons-in-law, David Williams and Garry Cooper. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, Paul Renwick, John Renwick, Jessica (Charlie) Hall, Sarah (Josh) Gold, Joshua Cooper, Grace (Chris) Bowen, Abbey (Steve) Foust, Matthew (Emily) Shearer and Heidi Shearer; 20 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Laura Castleman; and sisters-in-law, Katherine Habas and Annamae Recor. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Shearer; her son, Mark A. Shearer; and her brothers, Eden C. Recor and Henry W. Recor, Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday, 2/9, 2-2:30pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:30pm, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada.
