Martha Esther (Hull) Wallace 78, resident of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017. Survived by her husband Larry Wallace, married 60 years, her two daughters Robin June Wallace-Ipema and her husband Gerald, Heidi Marie Wallace-Grant and her husband Daniel, granchildren Casey Albert Ipema, Cody Edward Ipema, Nichalas Jordan Grant and CarolAnn Martha Grant, sister Jeanie (Hull) Bird and her husband Gregory. Martha was born in Cherryvale Kansas to Melvern (Hully) and June Hull on February 1, 1939. When she was very young, the family moved to Newton Kansas. She met Larry while in high school. He was the lover of her life. They married after she graduated in 1957. Marcha and Larry moved to Colorado in 1957. Martha was an excellent tap and ballet dancer in her youth. Martha went to business college for two years and one of her frist jobs sas with Martin Marietta. Martha loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always made sure there were homemade chocolate chip cookies for them when they cam over. She and Larry enjoyed traveling with their 5th wheel and staying in Grand Lake, Colorado. Many, many family gatherings were held in Grand Lake. Krispy Kreme donuts, large warm cinnamon rolls and salt water taffy were some of her favorite treats.
