Martin Hart Cameron

Navy and Aerospace Veteran, Martin Hart Cameron passed away at his home in Aurora Colorado on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the age of 57 from heart complications. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Husband, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was also known as Cameo to his very large and loving Navy Family, and the Velvet Hammer to the Aerospace Community. He touched many lives in his short time on earth. Martin was born August 3, 1960, in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in nearby Wadesboro. He honorably served in the U. S. Navy before starting a career as a System Engineer for Lockheed Martin in 1996. His parents James and Gloria Cameron predeceased Martin in death. Martin is survived by his loving wife Patcharin; daughters Sueparat and husband Kandid Pagdee, Jarleeya and Nick Daiker (friend); son Salawuth Ratphonthee and wife Paweena, grand-children Win and Wave (Salawuth, Thailand); brother James (Pittsboro, NC), Bill and wife Susan (Swannanoa, NC) sister Kay Cameron-Conner and husband Steve (Charlotte NC), brother Clayton and wife Maureen (Leesburg VA); and many other family members. Services will be held on Thursday August 31, 2017 at 2:00pm at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home - 11150 E Dartmouth Avenue (At S Parker Road), Aurora, CO 80014.
