Martin Joseph O'Fallon

Marty O'Fallon, 84, Denver native, passed away January 29, 2011. Survived by his wife of 59 years Kathy; his children, Molly, Martin Joseph, Jr. (Gayla), James Peter (Alison), Ann Clark (Kenneth); Grandchildren: Michael Banks, Ivan, Erik , Luke Geer, Martin J. III, Patrick, Lolly, James P., Jr. O' Fallon, Connor and Kira Clark; 10 Great-grand-children; and Brother Charles. Funeral Mass, 12:00 P.M. Friday, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 South Quebec Street, Centennial, Colorado. Memorials are being suggested to ALS Society, alsaco.org or Samaritan House. Marty was born October 12, 1926, in Denver, Colorado. He attended Notre Dame, and served in the Navy. He graduated from CU with a degree in Engineering Physics in 1951. He received his Law Degree from DU Law School in 1953. Marty was an engineer and salesman in his father's KFEL radio station and Channel Two television business. He began his law career in 1961 and continued to practice until 2010. Marty was a friend to the powerful and an advocate for the powerless. A lawyer for business and for people in need, he represented his fellow AA brethren and the less fortunate. He was close to many especially liberal thinkers and the Irish. Marty's contributions to the people of Denver are known to those he helped. He will be missed by his large family and long list of friends.
