Martin E. Peerman, Jr.

Martin E. Peerman Jr. (Sonny) of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on May 4th 2014. Sonny was born to Martin E. Peerman Sr. and his wife Ruth Peerman on May 3rd, 1934 and was the brother to Shirley Borucki, Joann Bernard, Mary Peerman, Carol Kroonenberg, Nancy Sanchez, Louis Peerman, Sharon Zakrajsek and Robert Peerman. While married to his late wife Beverly they had children Martin E. Peerman II, Dennis Michael Peerman (Mike), Carol Marie Peerman, and Karen Ruth Peerman. Sonny is survived by three of his children, Mike, Carol, and Karen. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Tracy, Michelle, Donny, Abraham, Adrianne, Mathew, and Emily. Sonny was also blessed with 12 great grandchildren Molly, Colton, Chloe, Ricky, Ben, Bodie, Taylor, Gus, Noah, Isaac, Abriana, and Madison. Sonny was a beloved family member and friend to many. He was known for his great faith in God and his ""Sonny"" disposition. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from February 1952 thru May 1955 as a Machinist during the Korean War. He was concurrently released to inactive duty in Denver in February 1960. Following his service Sonny worked nearly 30 years in the flooring business, spending the last 23 of those years working as a commercial estimator at Colorado Floorworks. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who were blessed to have known him.
