Martin "Marty" Browne

Martin "Marty" David Browne, SR, 83, of Aurora, Colorado passed away December 17, 2020.  Marty was born on April 9, 1937 to Robert A. Browne and Catherine Henn in Brooklyn, New York.

Marty was an active, long-time parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.  He was a co-owner of Browne Brothers Painting and Decorating where he worked with his brothers for many years until he retired and sold the business to his son, Timothy Browne and nephew Robert Browne.

Marty is survived by his sister, Maureen Browne; brother, John Browne;  5 children:  sons:  Martin David Browne, JR (wife Maureen), Timothy Collins Browne (wife Susan),  daughters:  Susan Marie Browne-Wederquist, Jillene Lucille Boggs and Kerrie Lee Velasquez,  17 grandchildren: Brian Browne (wife Lindsey), Randall Browne (wife Leighann), Christopher Browne, Jack Browne, Lauren Browne, Aaron Browne, Luke Browne, Jacob Browne, Charlotte Browne, Matthew Browne, Collin Wederquist, Devin Boggs (wife Candace), Dalton Boggs, Dara Boggs, Isabella Boggs, Madisen Velasquez and Miley Velasquez, 5 great grandchildren:  Leland Boggs, Urijah Boggs, Harper Browne, Camille Browne and Jordan Browne, cousin Cathy Raper.

He is preceded in death by his wife Judith "Judy" Lee Browne, his brothers Joseph Browne, Richard Browne and Robert Browne, and his parents Robert A. Browne and Catherine Henn.

Visitation with a Rosary will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 from 5PM until 7PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020, 10 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church (13120 E. Kentucky Ave. Aurora, CO 80012).

Entombment with Military Honors will take place on December 29, 2020 at 1PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
