Marty Bixler

Paul ""Marty"" Bixler age 62 of Denver, CO passed away on July 5, 2018 peacefully at his home.

Marty was born in Alliance, NE on December 5, 1955 to Ted and Mary Bixler of Haysprings, NE. The family left Nebraska in 1963 with stops in Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota but they would eventually call Albuquerque, NM home. Marty attended Jr and Sr. High School in Albuquerque were he met many of his life long friends who would become like family. He married Nancy Halsted in 1974 and they had two children, Jason and Kara.

Throughout the years he enjoyed many adventures with his family and friends on motorcycle rides, playing music, fishing and camping trips and of course the infamous trip to Memorial Stadium with the brothers to watch ""BIG RED"" Nebraska football.

Marty was talented in many trades, though he was one who worked to live, not lived to work. He would much rather be enjoying the simple pleasures of life, spending his time with loved ones or fishing.

Marty treasured the relationships and memories made along his journey and loved to share those stories any chance he got.

We will miss his sense of humor, his laugh, his companionship, his stories and his smile most of all.

He is Preceded in death by his parents Ted and Mary Bixler.

He is survived by his son Jason

( Audrey) Bixler, their children Grace, Andrew, Ian, and Zach. Daughter Kara (Tyler) Edwards and their children Jacob, Ella and Trevyn.

Brothers Terry (Ann), Mike ( Carolyn ), and Joel Bixler. Nephews Jeff, Dean, George, Blake, and Cole Bixler.
