Marva Ann Coble

January 24, 1940 — August 27, 2018

Marva Ann ""Marvann"" Coble of Aurora, CO peacefully passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at the age of 78. Mrs. Coble was born on January 24, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN.
A city girl, she won the heart of a young Tennessee man, Charles ""Chuck"" Coble who she met through a mutual friend. Marva and Chuck dated shortly before he enlisted in the Marines and was deployed overseas for four years. They maintained communication over the years until he returned with gifts from Japan and a marriage proposal. Upon marrying they decided that their differing religious affiliations would not be optional for raising a family. Together they converted to Catholicism in order to provide a strong foundation for their family. Their adventure began soon after as Chuck, a telecommunications salesman, explored new career opportunities throughout the U.S. The family moved many times and Marva adapted to each new city. She maintained a loving home and stable family making lasting friends in each new town.
Marva completed beauty school and worked as a beautician before starting a family. Marva was a talented seamstress who made Halloween costumes for her children and fancy dresses for special occasions that attracted many compliments. She was a homemaker, third shift production line worker, librarian at Information Handling Services and volunteered at her children's school. After retirement Marva served as a board member for the Torrey Pines Homeowners Association.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Carr, father Mervin Carr and brothers Frederick Sr., Edward ""Joe Baby"", and Mervin Jr. ""Bubble"". She is survived by her husband, Charles Walter Coble and her loving brother, Steven Coble. She leaves behind four children Mark Derek Coble (Marcia), Bridgette Ann Coble, Steven Charles Coble, and Christopher Michael Coble (Kim), ten grandchildren, Christina Marie Johnson, Andrew Terrence Jordan, Blessing Sarah Escobedo, Jasmin Marie Thompson (Franklin), Derek Marquise Coble, Elijah Vaughn Coble, Braeden Charles Coble, Lauryn Cimone Coble, Savannah Arnetta Marie Coble and Jada Ann Coble and three great grandchildren Sorl King Shead IV, Maliah Nicole Thompson and Zuri Marie Thompson. Devoted family friends Daniel Lester Grice II, and Janette Brown grieve the loss of a dear elder, mentor and friend along with a host of loving family and friends.
