Marvin was born on June 16, 1940 in Colorado Springs, CO, with Ft. Collins, CO being his childhood home. His early schooling took place in Ft. Collins and his adult education and life took place in Denver, CO.
In his early career he served as a Roman Catholic Priest in Colorado and later served as a Nursing Home Administrator in several states. Marvin is survived by brother Wayne Bishop; two sisters Wanda Ernst and Cathy Pimm. Preceded in death by sisters Juanita Hammett and Glenda Mercer.
Funeral Service Thursday, January 13, 2022, 11:00 am, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO. Viewing one hour prior to service. Graveside Service 2:00 pm, Seven Stones Chatfield Cemetery, 9635 N. Rampart Range Road, Littleton, CO.
