Services for Marvin D. Brasch, 72, of Elizabeth, CO were held January 18 at St. Matthew Episcopal Church in Parker, CO. Marvin passed peacefully in the home he built with his wife Peggy on January 11, 2015. Marvin, son of Harry and Margaret Brasch, was born March 24, 1942 in Wausa, NE. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft hydraulic mechanic until his honorable discharge in 1964. Marv later became a natural gas reservoir engineer for Northern Natural Gas (later Internorth and Enron) until his retirement in 1989. Marvin is survived by his beloved daughter, Tammie Pech currently stationed with the American Red Cross in Daegu, Republic of Korea; Step son Kevin (Louise) Hyatt of Dallas, TX and their children Austin, Brandon and Caitlyn Hyatt of Texas; Step son Jeffrey Hyatt of Casper, WY; foster son Mark (Tiffany) Brasch and their children Dominic, Connor, and Taylor Brasch of Elkhorn, NE; foster son Shane (Arianne) Brasch of Omaha, NE.; brothers Minehart (Karen) Brasch of Harlan, IA; Keith (Imogene) Brasch of Wayne, NE and sister, Lois (Jim) Stanfield of Auburn, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Peggy) with whom he shared his love of horses and square dancing. He also was active in several area bowling leagues.
