Marvin James Lythgoe, Jr., 69, passed away suddenly but peacefully Saturday June 19, 2010 at his home in Aurora, Colorado. If the worth of a man is determined by the depth of his love for his family and friends, we have lost a giant among men. He was his family's compass and parachute and will be loved and missed forever. Marv is survived by his lovely wife of 49 years, JoAnn Richins Lythgoe; and his daughters and their husbands Debbie and Dave Frischknecht of Spokane, Washington, and Chris and Tim McEntee of Greenwood Village, Colorado. He also leaves behind five beautiful grandchildren; his first great grandson; and his brothers and sisters Bill Lythgoe, Karen Ashbaker, Darrell Rector and Marilyn Lawrence. Services will be held respectively in both Utah and Colorado. Layton, Utah Services: All who loved him are invited to say good-bye at a Viewing on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life on Thursday, June 24, 2010, 11:00 a.m., both at Lindquist Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, in Layton, Utah.
