Marvin Wallace Shaver

Marvin W. Shaver “Wally"", passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017, peacefully with family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jill, his two sons, David (Anita), Dan (Stephany) and three grandchildren Megan, Jeff and Gina. He is also survived by his younger sister, Marie Heavener. Wally loved jazz music and was a member of a jazz band in college. He was a fly fisherman, hunter and enjoyed time with family and friends. After attending Potomac State College he worked for Michael Baker Jr. Engineering firm in Charleston, WV. Wally moved on to Kaiser Aluminum Chemical Corp. in Ravenswood, WV then on to Bright of America in Summersville, WV. Later to Bingo King, Littleton, CO. In 1976 bought Direct Mail Services which was a family endeavor, leading to all family members being employed. The business was sold in 2016 and Wally retired. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:30am at Three Trees Chapel, 13416 West Arbor Place, Littleton, CO 80127 with a gathering to follow.
