Marvin V. Stevens

Marvin V. Stevens, 91, of Denver passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Harvard Square. Born on May 9, 1926 he was the son of the late Verrol and Hazel Stevens. He married Beverly E. McCray on September 12, 1947 and together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. Marvin owned and operated Independent Service, Inc. for over 25 years. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, bowling, golfing, racing with his son for 45 years, and spending quality time with his family. He is survived by his children: Sheri Parkhill and Kirk Stevens and their spouses Pat Parkhill and Kim Stevens; his grandchildren, Corrie Hager (Todd Hager), Kristi Richardson (Brian Richardson), Michael Stevens and Daniel Stevens; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Hager, Kylie Hager, Lexi Hager, Chase Roberts, Payton Walters and Grace Richardson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014, followed by interment with military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80236.
