Mary Rudolph Bentley, age 99, of Parker Colorado, passed away on November 24, 2023. She was born on February 18, 1924, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
She met Harry O. Bentley in Cody Wyoming and they were married November 9th, 1946 in Billings Montana. They were married for 46 years before Harry's passing in 1992.
Mary is survived by her children Allan Bentley and wife Pamela of Carlisle PA, David Bentley and wife Peggy of Anchorage, AK, and Stephen Bentley and wife Cheryl of Castle Pines CO.
She had 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry O. Bentley, and her siblings: Loretta Rudolph (Lawrence Waggoner), Florence Rudolph (Howard Lusch), Victor (Alice) Rudolph, Jerome (Shirley) Rudolph, Henrietta Rudolph (Alfred Hamilton), Walter (Delora) Rudolph, Emma Rudolph (Sam Pfrangle), Damian (Irma) Rudolph, and Helen Berta Rudolph.
Mary had a fond place in her heart for her mother Anastasia.
Throughout her career, Mary worked at Deluxe Printing, Cody Enterprise in Cody, Wyoming, Lowry AFB Dining Facility in Denver, Colorado, and as a Costco Food Demonstrator in Aurora, Colorado. She was dedicated to her work and made a positive impact in her respective roles, oftentimes earning Employee of the Month recognition.
Mary found solace and community in her faith. She worshipped at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Cody, Wyoming where she was involved with the Newcomers Club, and Risen Christ Catholic Parish in Denver, Colorado.
In her free time, Mary enjoyed various hobbies including cross-stitch embroidery, card games, baking, casino games, dancing, and avid reading.
She was an active member of the BPOE DOES of Cody Wyoming. These activities brought her joy and fulfillment throughout her life.
A visitation and rosary will be held on December 10th at 5pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home located at 5303 County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 am on December 11th at Risen Christ Catholic Parish, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80222, followed by a reception. She will join her husband Harry at a private internment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Samaritan House in memory of Mary Bentley.
Mary will be remembered for her kind heart, generosity, and love for her family. May she rest in the peace of Christ.
