Mary Ellen Waters Blind

Mary Ellen Blind, 85, passed away peacefully in her home on January 25, 2014. ""Mellen"" was born on December 28, 1928, in Tulsa, OK. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1950. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and a founding member of the Junior League of Denver's Fun Club, and remained active in both organizations through her eighties. Mellen is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Bob; daughter, Kathy (Steve) Miller of Cherry Hills Village; son, Bob, Jr., of Centennial; two grandsons, Andrew and Dr. Tyler Miller; and her brother, Gene Waters of Tulsa, OK. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 30, Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S. Monaco, Denver, followed by a reception in the parish hall.
