Mary Ann (Gramke) Bulis was born on October 1, 1923, to Bernard Karl Gramke & Margaret ""Maggie"" Deitering-Gramke in Dell Rapids, South Dakota. She was baptized Catholic on October 14, 1923. Mary Ann was raised in Remsen, Iowa. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School and attended college in Minnesota. She moved to Colorado in 1947 (while on her way to California but never made it). Mary Ann worked at Brecht's Candy Company and modeled for Daniel's and Fisher's Department Store. She was very active in the Timberline Club in Denver, Colorado. Mary Ann met Chuck Bulis, fell in love and was married on April 11, 1952 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, Colorado. Mary Ann Gramke Bulis raised 4 children. She co-owned Suburban Life Styles Interior Decorating Company with friends. She retired from F.W. Woolworth Co. at the young age of 74. She had a great marriage and loved her family and friends. She enjoyed her home. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish Family since 1968 as an active member. Mary Ann Gramke Bulis passed away peacefully in her home on April 20, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles. Survived by children, Carol Scardello, Linda Forrest, Gregg Bulis & Mary Bobik (Mike); seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and many relatives & friends. Rosary, Thursday, April 26 at 7:00pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. Funeral Mass, Friday, April 27, 11:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, Colorado.
