Mary Frances Bullock passed away peacefully, with her husband and children at her side, on the evening of June 26, 2023 after her long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. born on November 13, 1954 in Covington, Kentucky, Mary moved with her parents, Hearl and Mary Dyer, to Colorado when she was young, where she grew up with her younger sisters and brother. In 1972, Mary married her first husband, David Murphy, with whom she had her daughter, Tracy Lenae, and her son, Jason Daniel. In 1981, Mary married the great love of her life, Mark Bullock, and had her second son, Matthew James.

Mary’s greatest joys were listening to her daughter sing, and watching her boys play sports when they were younger. She also loved riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle, playing bingo, her bowling league, her monthly poker games with her friends, and spending time in her garden or sitting on the patio deck that Mark built for her. She also loved spending time with her grandsons, Jonathon and Jacob, and granddaughter, Julia.

Mary and her family would like to thank all of the in-home nurses for the care they have provided these last few months and weeks. Their compassion, knowledge, support and humanity are unparalleled, and meant more than our words can express.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, Jason Murphy, her daughter-in-law, Pamela Murphy, and her father, Hearl Dyer. She is survived by her husband, Mark Bullock, her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Cory Atencio, her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jasmine Bullock, her grandsons, Jonathon and Jacob Atencio, her granddaughter, Julia Bullock, her sisters and their spouses, Judy (Jeff) Kennedy and Brenda (Jim) Jones, her brother and his wife, Rob (Jo) Dyer, her mother, Mary Dyer, numerous nieces and nephews, and more friends than she ever realized she had. She will be so very, very missed.

In lieu of flowers, Mary and her family ask that  donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org or to hospice.
