Mary Ann Carroll

Mary Ann Carroll, 41, of Aurora, CO, passed away Monday, July 26, 2010. Mary was born August 15, 1968 in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Joan and Leroy Redler. She graduated from Hinckley High School in 1986. She married Michael Carroll and had two children, Brianna Carroll, 15, and Brandon Carroll, 13. Mary was a bright young woman who enjoyed every second of life. Mary loved to cook, sew, and swim. She occasionally liked going up to Black Hawk to try her luck at the slot machines. Mary loved spending time with her kids and took them many places to spend time and have fun. She is survived by her two children Brianna and Brandon Carroll. Her sister, Donna Redler of Aurora, her brother Scott Redler and his wife Valerie and niece Shawna Redler all of Aurora. Four Aunts Jean Gerschermann of Placerville, Calif.; Sherry Stodolsk: and her husband, Neil of Spearfish, SD. Carole Lowe of Aurora, Colo, and Julia Freund of Denver, Colo.; her Uncles Tony G. Freund, Jr. and his wife, Rhea, and Michael (Mike) Freund and his wife, Debbie, all of Lewis, IA. Dwaine Redler and his wife, Mary of Omaha Neb. Four Aunts Marilyn Freund of Atlantic, IA, Linda Freund-Ebbinga of Griswold, IA; Carolyn Kinsella and her husband, Tom, of Omaha, NE; and Linda Redler of Marne, IA; as well as 36 cousins. Preceding Mary in Death are her parents Joan and Leroy Redler; her brother Mark Redler. Grandparents Tony and Helen Freund; Albert and Pauline Redler. Uncles: Charles (Chuck) Freund, Jack Freund, Heinz Gerschermann and Byron Redler and Aunt Mary Lea Freund.
