It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of Mary Catherine Nichols Quinn of Denver, CO on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 93 years old.
We feel blessed that Mary was received in Heaven by her Heavenly Father along with many of her beloved family.
In her lifetime, she grieved the loss of her husband, Thomas Lee Quinn, Sr., her daughter, Karen Marie Pomeroy, her son, Steven Wayne Quinn, her parents, Fredrick William Nichols and Katherine Christine Gimple , five siblings, George, Phyllis, Dorothy, Leo and Fred; as well as five babies.
Mary was born on December 19, 1929, in Fort Collins and grew up in the Highlands of Denver. On July 24, 1948, she married Tom and they had nine babies and raised 4 children.
She was active in Christ the King Catholic Church for many years.
Before being such a busy grandma, Mary often cooked, baked ann babysat for her neighbors. Her Eudora street community was blessed to know her. Mary loved baking and shopping with and for her grandchildren. She loved walks, watching golf and visits from friends and family. Mary had an affinity for chocolate, and loved sharing it with everybody. She emitted joy and was sweet and loving to everyone. We will all remember her laughter and gracious presence!
Mary is survived by her sons, Thomas Lee Quinn, Jr., Kevin Gerard Quinn " and daughter in law Elizabeth Ferris Quinn.
and her beloved grandchildren, Sean and Patrick Quinn,
Max Pomeroy, Brandon Quinn, wife Jocelyn Wu, Morgan Quinn Cujé, husband Michael Cujé Garrison Quinn, Kathleen Quinn, Cameron Quinn and Collin Quinn.
