Mary E. Concannon

Mary Elizabeth Concannon, 66 years old, died in Highlands Ranch, CO on Friday, August 19, 2016. Mary died from complications after knee surgery. She was born on March 30, 1950 in Detroit, MI. She recently moved to Highlands Ranch, CO but she has also resided in Indianapolis, IN, Pinckney, MI and Troy, MI. She met her husband Dave on their first day at Chrysler where she worked as a secretary for 7 years. She then worked as a secretary in the Troy school district for 17 years until retiring in 2006. Mary was a devoted follower of Jesus and loved serving the various churches that she attended. She served as a Stephen's Minister while living in MI and IN and she served on several committees at her church in Indiana. Mary loved boating and living on a lake. Her greatest joy was babysitting and playing with her grandchildren, Zac age 6 and Hannah age 3. Survivors include her husband, Dave Concannon (Highlands Ranch, CO), her brother Tom Sharer (Englewood, CO), her brother Jim Sharer (Northville, MI) her daughter and son in law, Matthew and Kelly Erickson (Milwaukee, WI), her son and daughter in law, Brian and Sue Concannon (LIttleton, CO), her grandchildren (Isaiah, Joshua, David, Zac, and Hannah). She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Edna Sharer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Horan & McConaty 5303 E. County Line Road (West of Holly Street) Centennial, CO 80122. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miriam Project Adoption Agency, 1400 Broadway, Anderson, IN 46012.
