Mary Frances ""Fran"" Conway

Mary Frances ""Fran"" Conway passed away on January 25, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was strong and tough until the end. Fran was born in Nesque, PA, on September 18, 1948 where she spent her childhood and adolescent years. In 1968 Fran married her first husband, Robert Yackanicz. They spent their married years between Rockfalls, Il and Rapid City, SD. Bobby passed away in 1998. She then set out on an adventure, finding her setting in Las Cruses, NM. This is where she met her current husband Rex Conway. They were married April 12, 1999. Her job brought her to Thornton, CO in 2004 where she and Rex have resided since. She has worked in customer service all of her life at various credit unions, banks and service corporations. Fran lived a good life and had a lot of fun. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and football. She especially enjoyed watching her beloved team, the Miami Dolphins, who she recently had a chance to see at a Denver Broncos game. That was a highlight for her. Fran celebrated life and that's what she would wish for everyone. She was proceeded in death by her parents and first husband. Survivors include her husband Rex Conway, her daughter Laura Freed, her son William Yackanicz, her granddaughter Sara Peregrine and her grandson, Jacob Yackanicz. Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11 AM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton.
