Mary Lois (Nalitz) Hoskin, 87, of Lakewood, Colorado, died Monday, April 18, 2016, at Porter Hospice. Lois, as she was known, was born January, 25, 1929, in Dormont, Pennsylvania, to the late Frank and Mary Annis Nalitz, the seventh of eight children. She married Paul Hoskin of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, in 1977. Following the death of Paul and her retirement as secretary for the Pittsburgh Public Schools, Lois moved to Lakewood, Colorado, in 1990, to be closer to her family. A loving mother and grandmother, Lois is survived by her son, Daniel Dimmock (Lorraine Gallick), and daughter, Mary Beth Dimmock (Michael True) as well as granddaughters Emily and Hannah Dimmock. She is also survived by Paul's grandchildren, Buffy Loos, John Moleton, Heather Garcia and Shawn Hoskin. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Rose Mary Haseman; the father of her children, William Dimmock; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were siblings: Frank Nalitz, Edward Nalitz, Stella Wawrzyniak, Isabel McEnteer, Dorothy Dix and William Nalitz. A Memorial Service and Reception will be held starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado. Final interment will take place later at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Porter Hospice Foundation at www.porterhospicefoundation.org
