Mary Jo Huckabee

Mary Jo Huckabee passed away on October 17, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born April 2, 1924 in Fort Worth, TX. Mary Jo was married to K. D. Huckabee in Fort Worth, TX May 20, 1950. Mary Jo lived in 18 towns in Texas and New Mexico over the next 8 years as she and K. D. had their four sons. In all, Mary Jo moved 27 times in her lifetime. Mary Jo made her family her top priority and encouraged her sons to be kind, gracious, and grateful for our blessings. Mary Jo will be remembered for her smile, laughter and positive attitude. Mary Jo is survived by her brother Martin A. Turner, Jr and sister-in-law Glennene Turner in Ft. Worth, TX; four sons: Jeff, Bruce, Paul and John; six grandchildren: Deanna & Dan, Matthew and Jonathan, Kevin and Kimmy; and eight great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service is scheduled to be held at Windcrest, Mill Vista Lodge, 3420 Mill Vista Road, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Mary Jo was proud of her Texas heritage and will be inurned at Klein Memorial Park in Tomball, TX on November 12, 2018 to be next to K. D. Huckabee's inurnment.
