Mary S. Italiano

Mary S, (nee Langianese), 96, died Wednesday, June 19th, 2013, in Englewood, Colorado. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she was employed by Western Publishing ( Golden Books) in Manhattan for 35 years. A long-time resident of New City, NY, she was the beloved wife of the late Peter Italiano, mother of Donna Italiano (Tenafly, NJ), Peter Italiano (Evergreen, CO), Grandmother to Alexa Caroline Modugno and Samantha Beth Italiano and mother-in-law of Alfred Modugno and Deborah Italiano. She was sister to the late Tess Centonze and the late Michael Langianese. An accomplished ballroom dancer, she traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe. She returned to work at a New City law firm and retired to Florida at 85. She moved to Lakewood, CO in 2011. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Denver Hospice, 501 South Cherry Street, Suite 700, Denver, CO 80246. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21st at Lakeview Senior Living, 7390 West Eastman Place Lakewood, CO 80227.
