Mary Ortiz

Mary Frances Ortiz, age 80, passed away at home on March 31, 2023.

Mary was born on February 9, 1943 in Pueblo Colorado. She was raised by her aunts and uncles. Her Aunt Viola was like a mother to her. Bertha, Dee and Joe, like her sisters and brother.

She married Manuel Ernie Ortiz and together they had three children Ernie, Linda and Danny.

Mary graduated High School from Pueblo Central High and went on to work for the Denver International Airport. She Loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking trips to Vegas and going to Blackhawk to play the slots. She never got over losing the loves of her life life, her husband and our Daddy, Ernie and her son, Danny. They are all three together, now. Rest in Peace our beautiful Mom.

Mary is survived by her son, Ernie Ortiz and his wife Michelle, her daughter Linda Hoffman and her husband Bruce; her grandchildren, Addison Ortiz, Jeffrey Hoffman and his wife Casey, Michael Hoffman and his wife Maggie and her great-grandchildren Landon Hoffman, Maximus Hoffman and Kenzie Hoffman. She is pre-deceased by her husband Manuel Ernie Ortiz and her son Danny Ortiz.

A Funeral Service to honor Mary's life will occur on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 10:30am at Horan and McConaty Funeral Chapel at 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora 80014. A reception will follow.
