Mary C. Piro

Mary, 75, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother is survived by her children; Jerry (Denise) Piro, JoAnn (Mike) Cooper and Lynn Piro (Roy Stuchell) Grandchildren; Eric Scharnhorst, Holly (Kevin) Fobes, Kenny Cooper, Lisa Barnes (Ryan Peterson), Jacob Pike, Daniel Barnes and Jessie Cooper. Great-grandchildren; Chaz Cooper, RJ Peterson, Tayah and Jeremy Lyons-Pike. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert and Granddaughter Mindy Piro. Mary grew up in north Denver, attended Holy Family High School and was homecoming queen in 1952. Married 43 years, raised her children then started a career in banking. Moved to West Plains MO with Daughter JoAnn and lived there 5 years until she moved back to Colorado in May 2009 were she thrived in her new community at Broomfield Silvercrest Residences. She donated to many charities; her favorite was St. Labre Indian School. She believed whole-heartedly in family traditions and values and will be missed by many, loved by all, and remembered forever. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2:00PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton.
