Mary Pounden

Mary Pounden, age 75, of Westminster, Colorado passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 with her family by her side. Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 24, 1945 to Maurice and Beth Briscoe.

Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Pounden; their two children, John Pounden (Kimberly) of Northglenn, Colorado and Carolyn Vine (Jesse) of Thornton, Colorado; and her granddaughter Audra Vine. She is also survived by her sister Maureen Phelps of Westminster, Colorado.

Although born in Michigan, Mary lived most of her life in the Denver area. She and her husband John married in 1965 and have lived in Westminster for the last 49 years. She was happy being a homemaker and mother to two wonderful children. She particularly enjoyed all the times she spent with her granddaughter. Mary was big part of the lives of her family, and will greatly missed.
