Mary Ann Quigle

Funeral services for Mary Ann Kathryn Quigle, age 64 of Aurora Colorado will be held in Aurora Colorado on December 20^th 2018 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church at 10:30 am with Father Terry Kissel officiating. Additionally, in Atkinson, Nebraska at St. Joseph Catholic Church on December 22^nd 2018 at 10:30 am, officiated by Father Luke Steffes.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Quigle, Michael Quigle, Jason Quigle, Brandon Zindler, Norman Ibrahim, and Ben Gardner.

Mary Ann was an only child born November 10^th 1954 to Vincent and Marcella (Juracek) Piekenbrock at Scottsbluff Nebraska. She grew up in Atkinson Nebraska where she graduated from West Holt High School in 1973. She attended Northeast Nebraska Technical college in Norfolk Nebraska class of 1974 for medical Secretary/Transcription. She moved to Colorado in 1975. She attended the Colorado College of Medical Assistants class of 1976. After school, she worked at the state health department where she met John Quigle. She married John Quigle on June 18^th 1981 in Atkinson Nebraska at St. Joseph Catholic Church. They had 3 sons together: Jeffery, Michael, and Jason. They separated in 2000. Mary Ann was very passionate in Boy Scouts, where all three of her sons achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Many young men can say that Mary Ann was the main reason they were able to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and was an accomplished florist. She had a warm inviting smile with a genuinely kind personality. She was the kind of person to go out of her way to help others and she was able to show this off when she worked at Denver International Airport as a TSA officer and as a florist at Amore Fiori. She met Norman Ibrahim in the spring of 2014. They had many adventures together including traveling to Nebraska to witness the solar eclipse. They were together until her passing.

Mary Ann is survived by her three sons, Jeffery, Michael and Jason.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
