Mary Ann (Webster) Ritter born November 20, 1932, would like to let you know that her work here on earth is done. She received an offer she could not refuse, including no need to be stubborn anymore, and she will not be returning. A reunion with mother, father, brothers Glenn, Dan, Bill, sister Alice and her sons Jim and Michael. Her mission takes her to a wonderful place where she can breathe freely, dance, garden, play bridge and read to her heartâs content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. The food there is delicious and she can now eat whatever her heart desires. She was a woman of boundless energy and a strong sense of duty who believed intensely in the importance of a safe, secure environment when raising three children as a single parent. She loved her family, playing the clarinet, working as a cytologist at Denver General and Kaiser, spending time in Arizona with her Mesa friends, playing bridge, reading, gardening, watching the Colorado Rockies and of course, the Denver Broncos and most of all, life! Her surviving family includes: brother, Jay Webster (wife Irma); sister, Betty Jean (Webster) Miller; sister-in-law, Neoda Webster; daughter, Johnna Crawford-Klueg (husband Joe); seven grandchildren, Nicole (husband Michael), Nathan (wife Jaclyn), Galen (wife Kristina), Sean, Daniel, Christopher and Noah; four great grandchildren, Melanie, Charlie, Brin and Michael (To be born in October 2018); and other family members, including, many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins that she knew, including all their birthdays and most wedding anniversaries. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support in many heartfelt forms from too many people to name individually, but including: Honor/Encompass Hospice, CNAs Jolene, Kathleen and Cally - either through prayers and/or visits, Marshaâs loving guidance to help you embark on your new mission, neighbors, and even random acts of kindness. The Memorial Service will be at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W. 80th Ave at Wadsworth, Arvada, CO 80003, on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 4:30pm. A Celebration of Life will immediate follow the service at her residence. Friends are asked to bring a dish, if possible, that May Ann enjoyed to share with others. A burial service will take place in Gordon, Nebraska on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Mary Ann gave so much and asked for little in return. Thank you for always being there for us, for teaching us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, and always, always paving the way for us. We will work hard to reach the standard you set. Farewell sweet angel that lived, laughed and loved. You were simply magnificent and who I was blessed to have as my mother. The family asks that you spend time with your children, take a walk in the mountains or on a beach with your loved ones and make a toast to Mary Ann and to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond. That is what Mary Ann would wish. Please share your memories of Mary Ann and condolences with her family by signing the guestbook below.
