Mary Margaret Schaffner

Mary Margaret Schaffner passed away peacefully in her sleep early in the Morning of January 14, 2025 in Parker, Colorado.

 Mary was born on October 13, 1947 to Raymond and Elizabeth Francois in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised and continued to live in the Chicago area until 1990 when she relocated to Denver, Colorado for her job with AT&T. Mary continued to live and eventually retired in the Denver area until 2015 where she lived 3 years in Surprise Arizona before coming back to the Denver area to be closer to her family.

Although she only obtained a High School education, Mary successfully navigated a 30+ year career in the Telecommunications Industry which started as a Phone Operator with Illinois Bell and retired as a Manager with various roles in between with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya. Mary’s biggest joys in life were her pets, watching football, dining out, and afternoon cocktails. 

She is survived by her son Jack and her 2 Grandsons, Brandon and Mason, all from Centennial, Colorado.
