Mary Palmeri Smaldone

84, entered eternal life on March 6, 2008. Mary was born in Denver, the eldest daughter of Antonio and Elena (DiIorio) Palmeri. She graduated from North High School and attended Rangely Junior College. Mary was a loving wife and mother. She was an exceptional volunteer and active in the community. She was an organizer of the Regis High School auction, a past member of Mt. Carmel Altar and Rosary Society, the Archbishop's Guild, The Sons Of Italy, The Dante Alighieri Society, Il Circolo Italiano, and belonged to the Potenza Lodge Auxiliary. She loved her Broncos, musical theater, and travel, visiting Italy and Europe numerous times. She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Stephen (Victoria), Gerard (Mary Kay), Maria (Robert Finke), Philip (Mary Beth), and Matthew; grandchildren, Lisa (Craig O'Rourke), Jesse (Christina), Michael, Valerie, Sara, Alissa, Angela, Catherine, Matthew, Philip, Michael, and Grace; 5 great grandchildren; siblings Frank and John Palmeri and Alice Piro. Rosary, Sunday, 7pm. Funeral Mass, Tuesay, 10am, both at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 3649 Navajo St. Entombment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
