Mary Katherine Smid

""Kathy"" 57, entered into her eternal rest on February 13, 2013. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Kathy's family and her faith were very important to her. She was skilled and compassionate in her ministry of physical therapy. She was generous with her time and skills to take care of each patient she served. The Recitation of the Rosary will be Friday evening, February 15, 7:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday morning, February 16, 10:00 AM at St Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1060 St Francis Way, Denver, CO 80204. Her Burial will be Wednesday, February 20, at Mt Olivet Cemetery. She leaves her legacy to be carried out through her family: her beloved husband Mike of 31 years; loving daughters Lisa (and her husband Brandon Smith) and Julie; her mother Marian Hodge; and brothers Steven (Catherine) Hodge, Kenneth (Karen) Hodge, Timothy (Isabel) Hodge. She was also the expectant grandmother of a granddaughter due the end of March. She was preceded in death by her brother Gregory Hodge. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Smid Family Trust for the continued support of Mike and Julie.
