Mary E.C. Smith

Mary E. C. Smith of Lakewood, formerly of Evergreen, CO passed away at Life Care of Evergreen Nursing Home. She was the eldest daughter of James W. and Bertha Wall Campbell, deceased. Mary was survived by brother and sisters-in-law William and Doris Smith and their children and Loretta Smith and her children all of Bonneauville, PA.; her nieces Patricia P. Richards and husband Ron of Tabernash, CO, Nancie and Matt Araki and family of Conifer, CO. Mary was preceeded in death by her husband Richard F. Smith, sister Jane C. Pollitt, nephew James A. Pollitt, sisters-in-law Mary Mathews, Teresa Shanebrook and Helen Cease and brother-in-law Raymond Smith. Mary was a legal secretary all her life begining in St. Petersburg, FL. Richard and Mary retired in the 80's and traveled the US extensively and spent many trips visiting family and friends. Mary continued to be very active after her husband's passing; walking, lunching, baking, sightseeing, card and dice playing, all with family and friends. Mary had a full life and was thrilled to reach 99 and able to take care of herself. She will always be loved and sorely missed. Donations to Mother Cabrini Shine in lieu of flowers.
